The Lauderdale Lakes Alzheimer’s Care Center

The Lauderdale Lakes Alzheimer’s Care Center offers therapeutic activities for cognitively impaired adults in a reassuring environment focused on safety, supervision and support. Eligibility is based on a medical diagnosis of memory disorder and having a 24-hour caregiver in the home.

Transportation

The City of Lauderdale Lakes provides free door to door transportation services for individuals 60 years and older who reside in Lauderdale Lakes to the Senior Center, for special programs and activities, for congregate meals, to medical and social service agencies, and for grocery shopping trips. Transportation services operates Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Lauderdale Lakes Community Bus is a free service provided by a partnership between the City of Lauderdale Lakes and Broward County Transit.
